Gymnothorax angusticauda is a rather small remaining moray eel, about which there is not very much knowledge, so neither its prey spectrum nor something about its biology / reproduction is known.
However, it is interesting to note that the range of this moray eel continues to expand.
The largest distribution area of the moray eel is in the Indo-Pacific, Dr. Randall documented two specimens from the Red Sea in his first description in 1195, it would be worth knowing how the two moray eels found their way to the Egyptian part of the Red Sea.

Jumping guard
A jumping guard prevents (nocturnal) fish from jumping out.
Wrasses, blennies, hawkfishs and gobies jump out of an unprotected tank in fright if their night rest is disturbed, unfortunately these jumpers are found dried up in the morning on carpets, glass edges or later behind the tank.

A small night light also helps, as it provides the fish with a means of orientation in the dark!
