Pseudanthias unimarginatusis commonly referred to as Pseudanthias unimarginatus. Difficulty in the aquarium: There are no reports available yet that this animal has already been kept in captivity successfully. A aquarium size of at least 500 Liter is recommended. Toxicity: Toxic hazard unknown.
Only specimen collected with anaesthetic from a patch reef at 53 m where Chaetodon mitratus and Pseudanthias pulcherrimus are often collected. It quickly takes refuge in a crack in the reef when threatened! Feeds on zooplankton.
