The C. aitha is very habitat specific. It lives in very rich invertebrate habitat in the shore side of inner reefs.
Only know it from one coastal reef in Flores and found it impossible to get shots u/w. Largest seen was about 25 cm, but usually smaller up to about 20 cm
Don't know its diet, but it would be the same as similar congeners.
