Dermatobranchus phyllodes Gosliner & Fahey, 2011

This sea slug has recently been described in 2011.
The body is characterized by diagonal ridges,giving Dermatobranchus phyllodes a leaf-like appearance.The specific name "phyllodes" is from the Greek and meaning "leaflike".

The back ground colour is pale green with pinkish spots.Dark green spots of various sizes scattered on the dorsum.Rhinophores are white and the club is dark.The oral veil is opaque white with dark spots.

Sea slugs genus Dermatobranchus feeds on soft corals and sea pens.
