Husbandry

Randall & Walsh, 2008

Very special thanks for the first photo of Pseudocoris aequalis to the australien ichthyologist Dr. Fenton Walsh, who took the photo in the Coaral Sea (Australia) where the fish lives endemic in a depth of 8 to 15 meters.

Pseudocoris aequalis is newly described and is only known from Holmes Reef, in the Coral Sea, where the fish lives on rubble and hard bottom.

Classification: Biota > Animalia (Kingdom) > Chordata (Phylum) > Vertebrata (Subphylum) > Gnathostomata (Superclass) > Pisces (Superclass) > Actinopterygii (Class) > Perciformes (Order) > Labridae (Family) > Pseudocoris (Genus) > Pseudocoris aequalis (Species)
