Stylaster nobilis (Saville-Kent, 1871)

Stylaster nobilis has a single thick trunk that deived into cylindrical branches.In some cases there may be no branching at all or with a densely packed structure.

The colour is variable, pale pink, purple to orange with pale tips.Stylaster nobilis can be found to depths of 2-100 m usually in caves and under overhangs.

It is endemic to Southern Africa.
