The offspring of Pocillopora acuta are possible. Unfortunately, the number of offspring is not large enough to cover the demand of the trade. If you are interested in Pocillopora acuta, please ask your dealer for offspring. If you already own Pocillopora acuta, try breeding yourself. This will help to improve the availability of offspring in the trade and to conserve natural stocks.

I have THOUSANDS of photos of Pocilloporid corals, mostly P. acuta and P. damicornis (people used to synomize them as "P. damicornis").
We grow this species in our aquarium here in suspension (tied to fishing line), and it can grow quite quickly! It will even spawn in captivity, and its larvae will settle on the tank walls and grow into full sized adult colonies….sideways!
