Polycera hummi Abbott, 1952
The background colour is a translucent brownish-grey scattered with black or dark brown dots. The smal papillae, gills and rhinophores are translucent grey brown. The elongatepapillae have three characteristic colour bands (blue -yellow-blue).
Polycera hummi feeds most probably on Bugula bryozoans.
Very similar is Polycera aurisula.P. aurisula is smaller than P.hummi and the bands are never close together.
