Grundsätzlich sind gestreifte Scheibenanemonen sehr häufig, doch diese blaue Art ist selbst im Indopazifik sehr selten (Quelle: Knop und Erhardt, Korallenriffführer Indopazifik - Seite 257).
Die Identifizierung (wenn auch nur im Buch als sp. geführt), gelang Paul-Gerhard Rohleder, der diese wunderschöne Art pflegt.
Haltung einfach, wie alle Scheibenanemonen.
