Actinimenes ornatus (Bruce, 1969)
Colour is transparent orange, there is a white bar between the pink or orange eyes, as well as the purple and white speckles on the telson, legs and chelipeds. Size: 40 mm in length.
This small commensal shrimp lives on giant sea anemones, including Cryptodendrum adhaesivum and Stichodactyla haddoni. Feeds on detritus and other material that collects on the disc and tentacles of the anemone.
