Conopeum reticulum (Linnaeus, 1767)

Conopeum reticulum is an encrusting bryozoan and can be found in shallow water,in estuarine and brackish water (max.depth 168 m).

This moss animal forms white net-like patches on stones,shell and other hard-substrata.

Zooids within the colony are approximately 0.4-0.6 x 0.2-0.3 mm in size.
