Pleurolidia juliae Burn, 1966

The body colour is maroon to black with a white speckles and a white streak in the middle of the dorsum.The oral tentacles, rhinophores and cerata are the same colour as the body , with white tips.

Pleurolidia juliae lives and feeds on the black hydroid Solanderia sp.The hydroid forms large colonies. Pleurolidia juliae is very well camouflaged on its host and will never leave its host.

Similar to Protaeolidiella atra (without white line on the body).
