Cuenotaster involutus (Koehler, 1912)

This coldwater sea star can be found from 0-794 m depth.The disc may be flat or slightly convex.The arms are long, slender, flexible and convex.

The body colour can be pink,grey,brick,brown,yellowish-brown, white, greenish-gray, and gray-white.

Along the disc and the arms are unmistakeable bristling spaced rosette.

Cuenotaster involutus is an activepredator and also a scavenger.
