This hermit crab is yellowish and dark brown striped (also the carapax).Clibanarius eurysternus can be found in reefs, on rocky habitats on shores or in shallow water on sandy bottom.Clibanarius eurysternus prefer Conidae shell.

Hermit crabs genus Clibanarius are omnivores, prey on small animals and feed on carrion.
