Jujubinus exasperatus (Pennant, 1777)

A pyramidal top shell is conical with flat base, up to 1,0 cm.Colour of the first whorls is typically reddish, the later whorls usualy whitish with red, brown or black stripes.The rough top shell lives on seagrass, especially on Zostera to depths of 1-40 m.

Jujubinus exasperatus is very similar to Jujubinus striatus.
