Alicia pretiosa (Dana, 1846)

The body of this sea anemone with berry-like vesicles full of nettles cells.The tentacles are whitish to brownish in color. Alicia pretiosa is mainly nocturnal. Its feed on plancton.These anemone is light sensitive and is not suitable for keeping in the aquarium.
