Zoramia fragilis, also known as the Fragile Cardinalfish or Apogon fragilis, inhabits protected lagoons and bays above branching corals and reef crevices, and form large schools. widespread in the Indo-Pacific Ocean, from East Africa to Somoa, north to Yaeyamas, south to Great Barrier Reef .
The Fragile Cardinalfish feeds on plankton and benthic invertebrate at night. Will accept a wide variety of meaty foodstuffs with at least two feeding per day. Their diet should contain Spirulina. Prefers a dimly lit environment with caves. Rarely seen in the trade.
