Dasycaris zanzibarica Bruce, 1973

Type locality: Changu Island, Zanzibar

Wire coral shrimp live on a Cirrhipathes sp.. They are found preferentially only on this type of coral.

Similar in appearance to Pontonides unciger, but this one does not have a prominent hump.
