Rhodaniridogorgia superba is a Pacific deep-sea gorgonian that has a very thinly branched trunk, grows regularly or spirally in all directions and looks like a kind of bottle brush.
Little has been published about the coral itself, which is almost certainly due to the depth of the gorgonian.
