Info

Cladangia exusta is an azooxanthellate large-polyped stony coral from the family and is not a reef-building coral species.
The family Rhizangiidae is closely related to the family Oculinidae.

The colony-forming goblet coral was first described in 1873 in India, and has since been found in Mortron Bay, Queensland, Australia.
The Global Core Biodata Resource page reports findings from the Arafura Sea and the Andamenese Sea between Sumatra and Malaysia.
