Miamira flavicostata is a colorful sea slug in the family Chromodorididae. It was scientifically described in Japan, but is also found in Indonesia and eastern Australia.
The coloring of this slug is flamboyant, mainly with a purple background, orange bars on the back and yellow spots on the foot. As a food specialist, it feeds on sponges. It is not documented exactly which sponges are on their menu.
