Info

Chiridota hawaiiensis Fisher, 1907

Chiridota hawaiiensis is a very small but particularly colorful sea cucumber that, as its name suggests, lives mainly on sandy bottoms.Sea cucumbers have a very thin skin with tiny embedded hooks with which they cling to anything they come in contact with. For this reason, they are easily damaged when handled, especially with gloves. The body is able to expand and contract greatly due to water pressure.

We do not have husbandry experience on the Red Sand Sea Cucumber or import information.
