This species was described from Hawaiii, where it is apparently endemic.
The body is translucent clear (in the young) or pale yellow (adult). The ridges are deep yellow or orange yellow. Rhinophore clubs are brown with a whitish tip. The gill is light brown with white tips. This is the species listed as Sclerodoris sp. in Bertsch and Johnson, 1981.
