Rathbunella hypoplecta (Gilbert, 1890)

The stripedfin ronquil (Rathbunella hypoplecta) is a fish native to the eastern Pacific Ocean. Its range is from San Francisco, California to northern Baja California, Mexico.
Found in rocks and sand on exposed coast at about 6 - 91 m depth. Feeds on invertebrates. Male guards eggs.
