Coriocella nigra is a prosobranch gastropods of the family Velutinidae . Velutinidae sea slug have a fully internal shell, that is covered by the mantle. They are oftrn mistaken for a nudibranchs.

Coriocella nigra is a marine gastropod molluscs in the family Velutinidae. The body colour is black velvety with green. They feed on colonial tunicates.
