The body colour can be rose-orange,brown or greenish, or brown with darker brown spots.Juvenile Tayuva branneri are lighter coloured than adult sea slugs. Juvenile still have the two characteristic rows of irregular dark spots.
This sea slug can swim by flexing the body.It feed exclusively on sponges.
