It is an animal that is usually introduced with live stones or offshoots. Should get enough light, but can be established on the bottom or near the bottom.

Sarcothelia edmondsoni Blaue Xenien ...So wirst Du Sie los ...
Ich habe mal stark über Kohle gefiltert...aktiver Außenfilter JBL crystal 1500 ...Filtersocke mit Kohle so stark gefüllt, dass vom Volumen her ca. 1 Packung Butter war. Becken 180Liter, nach ca. 3 Tagen gingen die Xenia fast ein...hab sie gerade noch gerettet.
Fall jemand die blaue Xenia bekämpfen möchte, kann er es ja mal länger als 3 Tage probieren und berichten.

Wuchert in meinem Becken und vermehrt sich durch Stolonen oder Larvenabgabe. Dichte Polster welche sich nicht durch absaugen entfernen lassen. Beim Standort spielt es keine Rolle ob stark beströmt oder nicht. Wächst auch an schattigen Orten.

Ein mal im Becken angekommen und die Wasserwerte stimmen, gibt es kein halten mehr für die Xenia. Sie wächst bei mir seit einiger Zeit in einem tiefen blau an vielen Stellen. Mann sollte aber darauf achten das das ganze nicht aus dem Ruder läuft. Sieht von der Farbe aber echt toll aus.
