Cyerce orteai have numerous tubercles on the inflated cerata, rhinophores and oral tentacles.The body color is pale cream with olive-green and brown spots.Rhinophores and oral tentacles are dark brown with opaque white spots. The cerata are dark brown to pale green.
Like other sea slugs order Sacoglossa Cyerce orteai feeds on algae.
