Felimida regalis (Ortea, Caballer & Moro, 2001)

Felimida regalis was placed in the genus Noumea,Chromodoris and Felimida. The Sea Slug Forum used the name Chromodoris regalis Ortea, Caballer & Moro, 2001).According to WoRMS Felimida regalis is the actually correct term.

The background colour is a translucent pinkish with a fine network of reddish lines. On the mantle are small rounded white tubercel. The mantle is edged with a thin and milky-yellow band.Another milky-yellow band is around the foot.

The rhinophores are translucent pinkish with a thin reddish edge to the lamellae. The essentially simple gills are translucent pinkish with the inner and outer edge (rachis) edged in red. In some cases a few gills may be thick enough to have a double red line along the inside edge. It is reported to grow to 34 mm length.
