Western Pacific: endemic to Australia from Mackay Reef to Masthead Islands on the Great Barrier Reef, Queensland. Known to depths of ca. 6 m. Ovoviviparous. The male carries the eggs in a brood pouch which is found under the tail. For more Infos look to fishbase (Link)
