Characters: Colonies consist of dense thickets usually less than one metre across. Branches are short and cylindrical and divide at frequent intervals. Axial corallites are small, tubular and not exsert. Radial corallites are irregular on the sides of thicker branches, becoming uniform in size and shape towards branch tips.
